2018 was another good year for SilverDisc and its clients on Bing Ads, and we are delighted to have retained our Bing Select Partner status for the coming year. In addition to the continued success of our existing clients, we also introduced a few new accounts to Bing Ads via Google Ads imports for a seamless transition to the platform.
We work closely with Bing to ensure that we are operating to best practices and taking advantage of new features available to our clients’ Bing Ads accounts as and when they are available – and often when they are still in exclusive beta.
As part of our agency relationship with Bing Ads we work closely with specialist Bing account managers, receiving dedicated insights on account performance and actioning the changes that make a real difference for our clients.
Back in May, our Bing Agency Account Manager John Bodkin took the time to fly over to our Kettering office from Dublin for an agency catch up meeting. He spent the day with us, talking us through Bing Ads’ improvements and upcoming features alongside specific insights for our clients.
We don’t just keep this knowledge to ourselves though - we’re also keen to share our experiences of Bing Ads from an agency perspective. Here is a selection of SilverDisc’s Bing Ads Blogs from 2018:
- Bing Removed Sidebar Text Ads – Following in the footsteps of Google’s search engine changes, Bing removed sidebar text ads in late March to focus on providing a better variety of search result types on listings pages as well as increasing clicks for top-of-page ads
- Bing Introduced Price Extensions – Big news for ecommerce accounts back in February, Bing introduced Price Extensions to allow online retailers to provide price points and ranges in ads alongside clickable links to direct searchers to the given pages
- Bing Increased Expanded Text Ads Size – our latest blog from last month, we looked at the changes to Bing’s Expanded Text Ads and how the additional ad space could benefit paid search marketers
