After a lot of hard work, we’re pleased to announce that the new SilverDisc website is now live! As the old website was launched in 2013, we decided it was time for a new look, an easier to use back-end, and a better platform on which to promote ourselves. Read on to find out what’s new with the SilverDisc website.
The new website coincides with our birthday month – on 10th March we celebrated 25 years of being in business, and what better way to do so than with a brand new look? The site has a new colour scheme and a more modern layout, and makes better use of team images to give the website a more personal feel. The website has also been built to better accommodate video, so that in the future our clients can get to know us better through this medium. There are also some subtle features, such as the hover effect on links, that add to the fresh and modern design of the website.
The changes to the SilverDisc website aren’t simply aesthetic. We spend so much time working on our clients’ websites and marketing strategies that we often neglect to do the same for ourselves. In 2018 we are striving to change this and embrace self-promotion, so that we can ramp up our marketing strategy, increase our visibility, and provide the same great service for even more clients. With that in mind, the site comes with a new home for case studies so that we can showcase the successes we have had with existing clients. We’ve given the link to this page pride of place in our header alongside our Testimonials page, with the view to shout about what we’re great at more than we have in the past.
Easier Management and Futureproofing
Freshening up the SilverDisc website isn’t just important for making a good impression when clients and potential clients visit our website – it’s also been good for us. The new website is much easier to manage, edit, migrate content to and add new features to, making it more futureproof.
It has been great for so many different members of the SilverDisc team to work together on this project, collaborating like a well-oiled machine and each doing what we are best at. Technical and creative elements have been combined to create something that the web development team, content team, marketing team and management team are all proud of.
Ongoing Improvements and Marketing Strategy
Now that the new website has been launched, the hard work isn’t over yet. In the coming weeks and months we will be working on videos for the new website and we’ll be updating the content. We’ll also be continuing to make SEO improvements, create new content, and share that content - as well as our latest news and other posts - on social media. As we know, your online presence doesn’t stop at launching your website. The world of online marketing is always changing, and it’s important that our website and online marketing strategy (and those of our clients) keep up with these changes and continue to evolve.
